Responsibilities:
Assessment and Intervention:

- Advocate for service users’ rights and access to appropriate services.
Case Management:
- Manage a caseload of complex cases, ensuring timely and effective interventions.
- Monitor progress, review plans, and adjust strategies as necessary.
- Collaborate with other professionals (healthcare providers, educators, etc.) to coordinate care.
Safeguarding and Risk Assessment:
- Prioritize safeguarding, identifying risks and taking appropriate action.
- Work closely with safeguarding teams and external agencies.
- Provide expert advice on child protection and adult safeguarding matters.
Support and Empowerment:
- Empower service users to participate in decision-making regarding their care.
- Facilitate access to resources, support networks, and community services.
- Promote independence and resilience.
Supervision and Leadership:
- Provide supervision to less experienced social workers, sharing knowledge and expertise.
- Contribute to team meetings, case discussions, and reflective practice.
- Support the development of junior staff.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
- Prepare reports for court proceedings, reviews, and case conferences.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements and professional standards.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Social Work Qualification: Hold a recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA, BSc, or MA in Social Work).
- Registration: Be registered with the relevant regulatory body (e.g., Social Work England).
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience in social work.
- Effective Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
